Wahdy Capital is an investment manager based in San Francisco, CA. We manage investment accounts on behalf of a diverse array of individual and institutional investors through separate accounts and privately offered investment vehicles.
Investment Approach
The Long/Short Equity strategy invests in quality businesses with strong management and secular growth trends. We primarily cover equities in the software, semiconductors, and internet & media industries. We seek differentiated views by conducting original fundamental research, building deep industry networks, and by thinking long-term.
From a risk standpoint, we generally aim to target a portfolio beta +/- 0.50, excluding the impact of hedging, through a macro and factor aware approach. We use a combination of single stocks, index ETFs, and their options to manage exposure on the long and short side. The strategy uses leverage, generally between 1.5x-3x, and will carry a long or short bias based upon our view of market and industry conditions.
The strategy is open for new capital through managed accounts for accredited investors on Interactive Brokers.

We currently are open to capital through our Separate Accounts (“managed accounts”) available through Interactive Brokers.
Our list fee is 2% management fee (annualized) and 20% performance fee above our high-water mark. Account minimums are $125,000.
